New DVD featuring Mikhail Baryshnikov & Ana Laguna

Kultur is proud to announce the DVD release of Place starring Mikhail Baryshnikov.

The work proposes a modern but dynamic balance of two different worlds: keeping ballet’s inherent form while working with mixed media, four artists combine forces in a new type of dance for camera.

Place was created and staged by choreographer Mats Ek, directed by the award-winning Jonas Åkerlund (famous for collaborations with Lady Gaga, Madonna, U2, the Rolling Stones, Robbie Williams and Christina Aguilera) and especially developed to showcase the partnership of Mikhail Baryshnikov & Ana Laguna:

Place will be available on DVD from 27 March 2012.
