Team Ballet Bag will be returning to Lausanne to officially blog and live tweet for the Prix. We can’t wait to share with you all the backstage scoop directly from Lausanne. As with last year, expect plenty of  interviews, photos and more. In short, we will be bringing the Prix directly to your computers, smartphones or tablets.

In the meantime, as Prix week approaches, you can track the Prix de Lausanne’s new channels: drop by their Instagram feed or visit them on Pinterest for a selection of boards that cover the Prix’s history, former prize winners who are now leading stars with major ballet companies around the world, plus a selection of gorgeous images of contemporary and classical variations.

Stay up to date with all things Prix:

We started The Ballet Bag in April 2009 with the mission to prove that ballet is not stuffy, old fashioned and inaccessible; that it is quite the opposite: relevant, fresh and topical. With the aim to Give Ballet a New Spin we try to show it under a different light. When writing our capsule biographies, ballet fact cards, review roundups and commentary on social media, we cross it over with other art forms and cultural references (pop culture, cinema, rock music – ie. other things we love!).
