It seems Onegin fever really hit London this winter: in addition to Cranko’s ballet, the opera is being staged at the ROH in a new version by Kasper Holten, while Brazilian choreographer Deborah Colker presents her contemporary dance take on the story, Tatyana, at the Barbican (till this Saturday).
Before the Cranko version sees its last performance tomorrow, here are some wonderful images taken by Alice Pennefather of new Tatiana Marianela Nuñez, alongside the Onegin of her husband Thiago Soares:
