Christopher Wheeldon’s successful take on Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale continues to make waves at The Royal Ballet, with a live cinema broadcast scheduled for this coming Monday. Earlier in the run, Alice Pennefather captured this vibrant new ballet, with its wonderful costumes and sets by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland designer Bob Crowley:

About Alice Pennefather:
With a twin brother flying high as a star of the Royal Ballet, Alice’s creative talents lie in image making. After studying photography at Falmouth College of Arts, she spent 6 years travelling and working abroad, focusing on scuba diving and filming underwater. She has recently returned to London and rediscovered her love of everything Ballet. Alice now works as a freelance photographer, and is a regular at the Royal Ballet General Rehearsals – photographing for us here at The Ballet Bag.

Amazing showcase of Ballet and great direction. The bad thing is that I am working with a dance class since 3 years, but I am yet to see Ballet on such a beautiful stage.
