The Royal Ballet’s Swan Lake: a photo gallery

This season, the Royal Ballet welcomed a brand new production of Swan Lake by its resident choreographer, Liam Scarlett. Replacing the previous staging by Anthony Dowell, the current production is set to become a staple in the company’s repertory, with additional choreography that complements the original Petipa/Ivanov text and splendid designs by John Macfarlane. Alice Pennefather’s gallery below captures the beauty and allure of Marianela Nuñez and Vadim Muntagirov’s partnership as Odette/Odile and Prince Siegfried:

Alice’s creative talents lie in image making. After studying photography at Falmouth College of Arts, she spent 6 years travelling and working abroad, focusing on scuba diving and filming underwater. She has recently returned to London and rediscovered her love of everything Ballet.
